Creating a Path for Success

At WCEC, we're inspired by women who are empowered, impassioned—and committed to success. Recognizing the challenges of an increasingly complex marketplace, we work to educate, inspire and support women entrepreneurs as they launch and grow influential, profitable businesses.

To build a fruitful business, you need more than clients. You need a network of experienced professionals who believe in you—and your vision. That's the strength, beauty and purpose of the WCEC. As New Jersey's premier advocate for women entrepreneurship, WCEC is your partner: positioning you for business success through education, consulting, networking resources and entrepreneurial training.

WCEC's full scope of programs is offered throughout New Jersey. Thanks to the support of the U. S. Small Business Administration, the State of New Jersey and our corporate partners, we're able to offer these workshops and training opportunities at a cost that's affordable to all participants. Many are offered at no charge. Whether you're an aspiring entrepreneur or a veteran business owner, WCEC programs provide the insight required to launch and build your dream. Our initiatives help you to:

  • Start your own business from the ground up
  • Maximize business growth and profitability
  • Develop strategic management methods
  • Improve leadership and business skills

Strategic Funding Options: The New Jersey Micro-Business Credit Program

In partnership with the NJ Division of Women (DOW), the U. S. Small Business Administration, and other corporate partners, the WCEC is proud to be the administrator of the NJ Women’s Micro-Business Credit Program. This program assists low- and moderate-income women with minimal business experience as they launch their new businesses—and develop their entrepreneurial goals. Participants learn how to establish, market and expand their small businesses, as well as increase their management skills through training and coaching. In addition, eligible participants have the opportunity to apply for a loan up to $5,000.

For more information about the New Jersey Women's Micro-Business Credit Program, review more details on the loan opportunities.
