In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, join us as we share opportunities for small business owners of the Hispanic, Latino, Latina, Latinx Community, as well as general funding options.

We will be joined by special guest Ralph W. Tejeda, Founder & CEO of Tropical Sourcing LLC and Chairman of the Morris County Hispanic American Chamber of Commerce (MCHACC).

Ralph W. Tejeda (MCHACC) will share small business resources offered by the chamber, as well as how to become a certified Minority Owned business and the benefits of doing so.

There are an estimated 4.65 million Hispanic, Latino, Latina, Latinx owned businesses in the U.S., making them the fastest-growing segment of U.S. small businesses.

Small Business owners of the Hispanic, Latino, Latina, Latinx Community have been responsible for approximately 50% of net new small business growth between the years of 2007–2017.

The Hispanic, Latino, Latina, Latinx Small Business Owners are systemically underfunded across all sources of capital. Between 2020-21 the average loan size was $34,125 less than non-Latino-owned firms.

We'll share current programming for grants, micro-loans and other funding options to help Hispanic, Latino, Latina, Latinx--owned small businesses thrive.
