The Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship Corp. (WCEC), a nonprofit funded in part by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) that supports start-ups and existing businesses looking to grow, is offering its PowerUp program at a reduced rate to help small businesses overcome financial and other hardships brought on by the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Women’s Center for Entrepreneurship Corporation, deals primarily with micro business entrepreneurs. These are typically “five and less employees,” and that those “are the ones [they] care most about and target, the ones who suffer the most under the pandemic, the ones who definitely weren’t able to take proper advantage of the PPP.”
